Further Information
I am delighted to be working with the school again.
The students have decided on a community building project. We are waiting to hear back from a number of communities who have requested assistance from St Helen and St Katharine. The communities will suggest project ideas and the final project will be chosen by the students with their goals and objectives in mind.
The project will be in 'The Apprentice' style where students will be given all the tools needed to complete the project within the stated time frame. This will include the total budget of £200 per person in local currency, access to community leaders, builders and those with community knowledge, budgets for food, where to buy equipment and even how to mix cement! Students will also plan the opening ceremony.
There will also be a mini conservation project working alongside endangered and protected species.
