Walking Safari in Africa | Sense Africa

Walking Safari

“A walking safari through the African wilderness is an absolute joy, it really is restoration for the soul. As soon as I get to Africa, I pack my bag and get out into the bush on foot.”

What to Expect on a Walking Holiday

Walking safaris are a wonderful way to explore Africa whilst incorporating your hobby and keeping fit. Take time to explore the African bush, learn how to track animals, understand the traditional uses of the surrounding vegetation and listen to the calls of the local birdlife, all whilst on foot. It is not necessarily a massive hike at a fast pace, expect to stop and look at wildlife and admire the scenery as you walk through the bush. You never know what you will see.

What Past Guests Say

Bindu Pather

“Jenny Bowen, our guide was very friendly and efficient. She had a deep & extensive knowledge of Swaziland, sights, people and traditions.

I felt she was more a friend then just a guide, very keen on sharing her knowledge and intent on the group having the very best experiences. I certainly felt that my Swaziland trip was very much enhanced by Jenny.”
