Purely Indulgent

Jacks Camp

Makgadikgadi Salt Pans Botswana safari accommodation

Jacks Camp is in the heart of the Makgadikgadi salt pan where the emphasis is on observing the intricacies of a truly unique ecosystem. This is a complete desert experience focusing on species such as brown hyena, aardvark and gemsbuck. During the wet season the landscape transforms with clouds of flamingoes and other migratory birds which descend from the heavens to decorate the watery grasslands. Step back in time and enjoy the shear luxury of camps in the middle of absolutely nowhere.

There are 10 stylish canvas tents with en-suite bathrooms and indoor and outdoor showers (for those who want to feel the Kalahari breeze on their skin) set into a palm grove creating an oasis in what can be the harshest of stark environments.

Lebala means ‘wide open spaces’ in Setswana and the scenery is dominated by vast plains with scattered palms and tree islands backed by wooded savannahs. This wild expanse contrasts with the casual understated elegance and luxury of the camp itself.

The camp has 8 enormous custom designed canvas rooms, with unique mosquito net walls, allowing an unobstructed flow of cooling breezes and stunning views. Each spacious room has its own viewing deck, bathroom and luxurious double outside showers.

Little Vumbura, Okavango

Little Vumbura camp Okavankgo Delta Botswana accommodation

Little Vumbura is an idyllic camp hidden on a pretty island in the Okavango. Mokoro, boating and game drives take advantage of the plethora of both habitat and wildlife. Game viewing is consistently good all year round.

A plunge pool and reading area overlook the floodplains and a star deck leads off the dining area. It is a beautiful place to stay and very relaxing.

This 6 roomed tented camp is beautifully situated in the shade of an ancient Okavango forest. Each tent is large and spacious and has an en-suite bathroom with hot and cold running water, shower and flush toilet.

Savute Elephant Camp

Botswana safari accommodation

As it name suggests, Savute Elephant Camp is known for the herds of elephants that can be spotted roaming its plains. Other large animals also gather here to slake their thirst, especially now that the intermittent Savute Channel has started flowing through Chobe National Park once again after an absence of nearly 30 years. Savute Elephant Lodge is authentic and truly wild—the perfect place to feel the pulse of Botswana.

Housed on raised wooden platforms, the luxury tents feature sliding glass doors that bring the outside in, allowing you to observe the abundant wildlife from the comfort of your room. Step outside onto your large private deck to admire the beautiful scenery or for  a romantic dinner in complete privacy.
