Itinerary

Days 1 – 3:  San Camp – magnificent salt pans
San Camp , Makgadikgadi Salt PansSan Camp is situated in the Makgadikgadi salt pans overlooking a vast moon-like environment that transforms dramatically at sunset and sunrise, and gives fantastic views of the African sky. For activities, guests can go quad biking across the pans, get up close and personal with the meerkats or get to learn the San way of life on an interactive tour with the local bushman.

Accommodation: well appointed white tents are complete with very comfortable replete beds with soft feather bedding and hot water bottles for the cold nights. This wonder camp ensuring attention to detail and a personal touch to your safari experience. 

Days 4 – 6: Baines Camp – walk with elephants
Baines Camp, Okavango DeltaThis intimate camp is located amidst shady trees in a private concession, overlooking the lagoon. Go on day and night game drives, walking safaris and motorised boat and mokoro excursions. The highlight is participating is joining a semi‐habituated small herd of elephant on their morning walk. A perfect combination of luxury, privacy and nature.

Accommodation: There are five luxurious suites each with en‐suite facilities. An added feature is the fully mobile four‐poster bed, which allows for the fantastic opportunity of sleeping under the stars on the balcony without leaving the comfort of your bed.

Days 7 – 9: Chiefs Camp – fabulous Big 5
IMG_5170This beautiful camp is located on the famous Chief’s Island, one of the many islands created by the seasonal floodwaters of the Okavango.   The game viewing opportunities at Chief’s Camp are awe-inspiring.  You may see the roaming lions that prey on the thousands of antelope, zebra and buffalo who live here all year round and it is the ideal place to spot the big 5 – perhaps even the rare rhino.

Accommodation: each guest room have generously draped mosquito nets, ceiling fans, their own private deck and outdoor shower.

Days 10 – 12:  Selinda Camp – plethora of game
Selinda Camp, Selinda SpillwaySituated on the banks of the Selinda Spillway in the Selinda Reserve this lodge offers guests an authentic bush camp experience with contemporary luxuries. The Selinda Reserve is a high density wildlife area that attracts prides of lion, wild dog, and herds of elephants, buffalos, hippos and spectacular birdlife.  The ideal way to end your safari to Botswana.

Accommodation: en-suite tented rooms raised on decks offer excellent views from the privacy of your own shaded veranda.  The rooms are luxurious and a special feature is the open air en-suite bathroom with stone bathtub, antique shower and double vanity.
