Visit Mkhaya Game Reserve

Mkhaya Game Reserve is in the heart of the lowveld and is an unspoilt wilderness, a haven to endangered species which roam the magnificent African bush. On big game safaris you can see buffalo, elephant, white rhino and the endangered black rhino. You may even be lucky to see a leopard. Mkhaya offers intimate encounters and superb photographic opportunities for game enthusiasts.

Spend time in Shewula Community
Shewula Mountain Camp is the first community eco-tourism project in Eswatini. This friendly community encourages you to gain an insight into traditional Swazi lifestyle by offering guided walks into their homes and into your hearts. You can watch people cooking, learn about a subsistence way of living, sit in a class at school and meet the Sangoma, a traditional healer and a very powerful person in Swazi culture.

Watch traditional dancing
The most photographed experience in the Kingdom, the Sibhaca dance, will leave you with a smile on your face and a shake in your step. The dancers, proudly dressed in traditional regalia, will show you the importance of this dance and offer you the chance to learn it for yourself, if you are up for it!

A Lion Safari in Hlane
In the vast bushveld of Swaziland, where the hot sun beats on the dry earth and the rumbling roars of the lions are heard in the cool dusky evenings, lies Hlane Royal National Park. Hlane has large herds of animals as well as elephant and white rhino and a diverse bird life, including the highest density of nesting white backed vultures in Africa. The lion safari is a wonderful way to see all Hlane’s wildlife.

Walk in Magical Malolotja
Malolotja Nature Reserve has spectacular scenery and the variety of fauna and flora makes it a prime highveld conservation area. It is the last unspoilt mountain wilderness left in Eswatini where highveld grassland flora thrives. Hiking trails offer excellent opportunities to view game such as blue wildebeest, blesbok, zebra and impala as well as experiencing the Kingdom’s wondrous terrain and panoramic views.
