The lodge is home to The AfriCat Foundation, a non-profit organisation, committed to the long-term conservation of Namibia’s large carnivores, notably cheetahs and leopards. There are 2 camps; main camp which has a modern twist on luxury and Bush Camp which is beautifully integrated into the natural surroundings. The main activities here are tracking leopard, cheetah, wild dog and hyena, along with seeing all the other game in the area.

There are 16 double, en-suite rooms that overlook the bush all in total luxury. The more secluded and even more luxurious Okonjima Bush Camp has 8 rooms which have fantastic views over the natural Okonjima bush-veld from your own veranda.

Ongava is one of the largest private game reserves in Namibia, covering over 125 square miles, yet they take great pride in keeping the experience ‘small and personal’. Situated along the southern boundary of Etosha National Park, Ongava is the ideal place to stay and visit Etosha whilst also having game drives on the private Ongava Reserve which houses black rhino. There is also a floodlit waterhole that draws in a variety of game over the night. So if you can not sleep, there is still plenty to do!

There are 12 rock and thatch chalets, each with en-suite facilities, overlooking the reserve and privately situated. Only a limited number of visitors are taken at any one time, so you can have an incredible and unmatched experience.

Onguma Game Reserve is one of Namibia’s best kept secrets. It covers over 34,000ha and incorporates ecological substrata such as savannah, bushveld, omuramba and dry pan. The Reserve boasts over 30 different animal species where plains game roam freely and predators are common residents of the area. Lions are frequently seen and often heard. This Fort is unlike any other, overlooking the beautiful Etosha Pan, with probably one of the best sunset views in Namibia.

The accommodation consists of 12 Bush Suites with fire places for the winter months and air coolers for the summer months. Each suite has an indoor and outdoor shower and views that are out of this world.
